Funeral Claim on Social Media
A video has been shown on social media of a family carrying a body bag to the branch of an insurer after a funeral claim had been submitted.
This office is not in a position to comment on the matter. We do not have all the facts and there is no complaint in our office regarding the matter.
We can state that the Ombudsman for Long-Term Insurance provides a free service for complainants who have complaints against life insurers, including complaints about funeral policies.
